Austin, TX — April 15, 2025, Krishna Ghimire was fatally injured following a motorcycle accident that happened around 10:21 p.m. on East Riverside Drive.
Preliminary information about the accident says that it happened at East Riverside Drive and South Pleasant Valley Road.
According to officials, 28-year-old Krishna Ghimire was on a motorcycle. In events not clear right now, a collision occurred between the motorcycle and a pickup. Due to the accident, Krishna Ghimire was seriously injured. Reports say that Krishna Ghimire succumbed to the injuries sustained in the accident on April 23.
No other injuries were reported. Authorities did not report any charges. At this time, no further information is available.

Motorcycle wrecks can raise unique challenges considering how many people are biased against them. A lot of folks are predisposed to blaming motorcycle riders because they think all riders are reckless daredevils. I know that most are safe drivers, but it can take a lot of evidence to convince other of that.
That’s why motorcycle wrecks especially need careful, thorough investigations. Road conditions, vehicle inspections, cell phone records, security or traffic cam video, laser mapping of the scene, witness statements, alcohol and drug tests, screening for defects or maintenance issues—investigations need to be meticulous.
Perhaps authorities here have taken steps to examine as much evidence as possible and let the facts speak for themselves. If they’re letting bias get in the way, though, then it may be important to have independent investigators look into things.
