Van Zandt County, TX — November 25, 2023, Kody Pounds was killed in a single-car accident at about 1:10 in the morning along S.H. 64.
According to authorities, 22-year-old Kody Pounds was traveling in a westbound passenger vehicle along State Highway 64 in the vicinity of northwest of Myrtle Springs when the accident took place.
For unknown reasons, the vehicle veered off of the road and into the ditch on the southwest side of the road before colliding with a tree. Pounds was declared deceased at the scene of the accident.
