Columbus, OH — December 10, 2023, Kiare Harris was killed and one person was injured in a truck accident a short time after midnight along I-70.
According to authorities, 29-year-old Kiare Harris was a passenger in a car which had collided with a concrete barrier and become disabled on Interstate 70.
Harris had allegedly exited the disabled car—presumably to assess the damage inflicted by the initial crash—when an 18-wheeler which had been traveling on the freeway reportedly struck both Harris and the disabled vehicle. Harris was declared deceased at the scene of the accident. The driver who had been in the car reportedly sustained injuries and was taken to a local medical facility in order to receive treatment. No additional injuries have been reported.
