Houston, TX — July 28, 2024, Kenneth Thomas was killed due to a hit-and-run accident at around 3:45 a.m. along the East Freeway.
According to initial details. the collision occurred along the side of eastbound lanes of I-10 in the area of Kress Street.
Investigators said that 41-year-old Kenneth Bertran Thomas was driving a Toyota along the interstate when it apparently struck an object in the road. Thomas reportedly pulled over and was outside of the vehicle when another driver crashed into the Toyota, in turn pushing it into Thomas. That other driver then reportedly left the scene.
Due to the collision, Thomas was killed. another person involved apparently wasn’t injured. Authorities have not said if they’ve identified the runaway driver. The vehicle was described as a dark-colored pickup.

Hopefully authorities can continue putting out more details to the public. Generally speaking, these situations typically reach a conclusion because someone is able to come forward with new information for the authorities. Then, they can find out who was involved and why the left the scene (usually something like drunk driving, drugs, or warrants). Authorities will no doubt want to hear from anyone reading this who may have more information that could prove useful.
