New Braunfels, TX — March 5, 2023, Keith Felux was injured following an accident where two vehicles collided along Interstate 35.
Officials said that the accident happened at around 5:45 a.m. along I-35 in the area of Seguin Avenue. Investigators say that 32-year-old Keith Allen Felux was in a Chevy Impala traveling northbound along the interstate. For reasons unclear, Felux’s vehicle crashed into the back of a Toyota.
Felux sustained injuries described as incapacitating due to the crash. Police did not say if anyone else was injured. They did allege that the Toyota driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time. Authorities weren’t able to get a statement from Felux, according to their accounts. The cause of the crash remains unclear.

Regardless of what exactly led to this crash, it’s very serious to see one of the drivers was apparently under the influence of alcohol. At 5:45 a.m., that sometimes involved a driver that went out the night before and was recklessly over-served to the point they’re still drunk hours later. Are authorities making sure to look into these possible contributing factors?
