Martin County, TX — July 1, 2023, Kayode Emmanuel Omotoso was killed as the result of a commercial truck accident along F.M. 829.
According to initial statements from authorities, the crash happened at approximately 2:59 a.m. north of Lenorah.
It appears from DPS investigations that 47-year-old Kayode Emmanuel Omotoso was in a Kenworth truck that was going northbound along F.M. 829. For reasons not yet clear, that vehicle collided with another semi-truck that was in the southbound lane.
Due to the collision, Omotoso sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. One other person involved in the crash sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital. No further information about the crash can be confirmed at this time pending investigations.
