Ector County, TX — November 12, 2024, Kaelee Adams and Irek Gumerov were killed following a truck accident that took place along Loop 338.
According to authorities, 20-year-old Kaelee Adams and 26-year-old Irek Gumerov were traveling in a southbound Volkswagen Golf on Farm to Market 3503 at the Southeast Loop 338 intersection when the accident occurred.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Golf entered the intersection at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign. This resulted in a collision between the Golf and an International 18-wheeler that had been headed eastbound on Loop 338.
Both Adams and Gumerov suffered reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
