Houston, TX — June 18, 2023, Juan Cabazos was killed following a single-vehicle accident at around 6:36 p.m. along Adams Street.
Authorities said that the incident happened in the area of the Adams Street and Navigation Boulevard intersection.
According to currently available information, 66-year-old Juan Cabazos was in a Ford Ranger that was within the property of a mechanic shop. The Ford apparently backed into a metal gate. What happened after this is not currently clear.
Authorities say only that Cabazos was found on the ground “with one of his legs still inside the vehicle.” Cabazos was pronounced deceased some time after the incident, and the cause of his death has not been publicly stated. It’s unclear if anyone else was involved in the accident. No further information is available.
