Lavaca County, TX — June 8, 2023, Joy Ann Kroeger was killed in a collision with a commercial truck around 2:35 p.m. on U.S. 77A in Lavaca County.
According to authorities, the victim was heading northeast in a Toyota Rav4 while an International box truck was heading southwest. The box truck reportedly attempted a left-hand turn in front of Ms. Kroeger and the two vehicles collided in front of a private driveway.
The two vehicles collided nose to nose with the front passenger side of the box truck colliding with the driver’s side of the Rav4.
Joy Ann Kroeger suffered fatal injuries.
