Hays County, TX — June 9, 2023, Joshua Romero was injured following a multi-vehicle car accident at around 9:24 p.m. along Highway 21.
Preliminary information about the accident said that it happened in the area of Highway 21 and Cotton Gin Road.
According to officials, 24-year-old Joshua Romero was in a Hyundai Veloster that was going northbound along the highway. At the Cotton Gin Road intersection, police say that an eastbound Chevy Impala went through a stop sign, resulting in a collision with Romero’s Hyundai and a westbound vehicle.
Romero was taken from the scene with what was described as incapacitating injuries. The other two drivers had possible injuries, but this wasn’t confirmed. Police allege that the eastbound driver had been drinking and attempted to flee the scene, but that person was kept at the scene. There are no further details confirmed at this time.
