Ida County, IA — October 23, 2024, Joshua Fowler is dead and two children are injured in an 18-wheeler accident on Carriage Ave. around 6:00 P.M.
Authorities are investigating a fatal accident between an 18-wheeler and a pickup that left one person dead, and two children injured. Joshua Fowler, 29, of Holstein was driving northbound on Carriage Ave outside Ida Grove when there was a collision with the 18-wheeler in front of him.
The collision caused fatal injuries to Fowler who was pronounced dead at the scene, while the two minor children were transported via helicopter to a nearby hospital. At this time time the cause and greater circumstances surrounding the accident have not been released. Reportedly, no charges or citations have been issued at this time and the incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
