Dallas, TX — December 6, 2025, Joseph Premeaux was killed and four were injured due to a shooting incident around 9:55 p.m. off Wheatland Road.
Investigators said that the incident happened at a baby shower which was happening at an event center off West Wheatland Road and Old Hickory Trail.
Authorities said in initial statements that an initial argument occurred during the gathering. This escalated into shots being fired by multiple people. 33-year-old Joseph Premeaux was shot during this, killing him.
Four others were hurt, one critically. Authorities say they arrested one person for murder. The incident is still under investigation.
