Dallas, TX — June 18, 2023, Joseph David Kiernan was fatally injured as the result of a single vehicle accident at around 2:15 p.m. along I-35E.
Preliminary details released by authorities indicate that the accident occurred along northbound lanes of Interstate 35E in the area of Walnut Hill Lane.
Authorities at this time say that 38-year-old Joseph David Kiernan was in an Audi SUV that was going northbound on I-35E. While doing so, for reasons unconfirmed, the vehicle veered to the right. This led to the SUV hitting the guardrail before overturning across the median between the main lanes and the service road.
As a result of the crash, Kiernan sustained fatal injuries. There were no other individuals mentioned by authorities, whether in Kiernan’s vehicle or otherwise. Details surrounding the fatal accident are still under investigation.
