Crawford County, MO — June 21, 2024, Joseph Anderson was killed following a rear-end truck accident at approximately 9:15 p.m. along Interstate Highway 44.
According to authorities, 25-year-old Joseph Anderson was traveling in a westbound cargo van on Interstate Highway 44 following an 18-wheeler when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that the 18-wheeler was apparently slowing for traffic conditions when, for as yet unknown reasons, the van crashed into the rear-end of the truck. Anderson sustained reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. However, he was ultimately unable to overcome the severity of his injuries, having there been declared deceased. No other injuries have been reported.
