Dallas County, TX — October 20, 2024, Jose Teneyuca was injured in a car accident at approximately 1:00 a.m. along Southeast 14th Street.
According to authorities, 43-year-old Jose Teneyuca was traveling in a northbound Ford F-250 pickup truck on SE 14th Street at the Jefferson Street intersection when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the pickup truck entered the intersection at an apparently unsafe time, failing to heed the red light indicated by the traffic signal. This resulted in a T-bone collision between the right side of the pickup truck and the front-end of a Chrysler that was heading westbound on Jefferson with a green light. The impact caused the truck to overturn, coming to a stop resting on its roof.
Teneyuca suffered serious injuries due to the wreck, according to reports; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
