Fort Worth, TX — March 13, 2023, Jose Martinez Ojeda was killed following an accident where a vehicle struck him along Miller Avenue.
Preliminary details provided by Tarrant County and Fort Worth Police officials say that the incident happened at around 9:20 p.m. near the intersection of Miller Avenue and Avenue J.
It appears that Jose Martinez Ojeda was walking at the time and apparently tried to cross Miller. While doing so, a vehicle struck Ojeda. This resulted in fatal injuries.

Additional details can’t be confirmed at this time, and I hope that’s only due to a lack of public information rather than a sign authorities aren’t giving this incident much attention. I’ve often encountered situations like this treated as “low priority.” For the victim’s loved ones, who certainly wouldn’t think the death of their loved one is a “low priority”, that’s clearly not optimal. Hopefully authorities here are able to get those folks the answers they deserve if they haven’t already.
