Grand Prairie, TX — April 27, 2023 Jose Manuel Martinez and another driver were injured after an alleged intoxicated driving accident at 8:44 p.m. on Highway 360.
Authorities said following investigations that the incident took place in the area of Highway 360 and Carrier Parkway.
Their statements suggest that 24-year-old Jose Manuel Martinez was in a Nissan Altima that was going westbound along Carrier Parkway. While attempting to turn onto the Highway 360 service road, it appears that an oncoming Chevy Silverado crashed into Martinez’s Nissan.
Due to the collision, Martinez sustained injuries which were described as incapacitating. The Chevy driver’s injuries were said to be non-incapacitating. No one else appeared to have been injured in the crash.
Right now, details suggest that authorities suspect the Chevy driver of being intoxicated at the time of the crash. There may be pending charges for intoxication assault due to this, however no further information can be confirmed pending additional details from investigators.
