El Paso, TX — July 10, 2023, Jose Guadalupe Rodriguez was fatally injured due to a single-vehicle accident at around 9:46 p.m. along Carl Longuemare Road.
Investigators said that the accident took place along the 9600 block of Carl Longuemare, just off South Americas Avenue/Loop 375.
According to officials, they received calls at around 8:00 a.m. after a person walking in the area noticed a vehicle in the canal. Through their investigations, authorities reported that 30-year-old Jose Guadalupe Rodriguez was in a vehicle that was going eastbound along Carl Longuemare. For reasons which can’t be confirmed at this time, the vehicle ran off the side of the road, flipped down an embankment, and crashed into the canal.
As a result of the accident, Guadalupe Rodriguez sustained fatal injuries. There did not appear to be any other injuries relating to the accident. The crash is still under investigation.
