Garland, TX — August 25, 2024, Jose Alvarado Lopez was killed as the result of a car accident that happened at around 12:56 a.m. along East Walnut Street.
According to initial details about the crash, it happened near the intersection of East Walnut Street and Mars Drive.
It appears that 39-year-old Jose Alvarado Lopez was in a Dodge Ram pickup going eastbound along Walnut. The vehicle somehow lost control and ran off the side of the road where it crashed into a power pole. Then, the vehicle flipped over repeatedly, killing Alvarado Lopez. It does not appear that anyone else was hurt.

Folks tend to assume authorities work behind the scenes to gather more information, and eventually they cover all of the facts. In reality, they often can miss important details and even make mistakes. It would surprise folks to see how many calls I get from families who lost a loved one and feel authorities aren’t telling them the whole story. Sometimes, independent investigations show authorities mishandled the investigations. Other times, investigations can confirm what authorities know and at least get some closure for the family. But simply relying solely on the authorities after a deadly car accident can often lead to doubts and unanswered questions.
