Houston, TX — July 2, 2023, Jonathan Morales was injured following an alleged hit-and-run accident at around 12:39 a.m. along Shaver Street.
According to details provided by authorities, the incident took place in the area of the Shaver Street and Broadway intersection.
Investigators said that 26-year-old Jonathan Morales was in a Nissan Sentra that was going westbound along Shaver. Another vehicle that was also going westbound apparently made an unsafe lane change, causing the two vehicles to collide with one another. This caused both vehicles to lose control and crash along the side of eastbound lanes.
Due to the crash, Morales had apparently incapacitating injuries. The other driver was accused of leaving the scene, and Harris County officials released documents showing a pending charge for failure to stop and render aid. Right now, no further information can be confirmed.
