Allen, TX — March 18, 2025, Jonathan Jaramillo was killed as the result of a car accident at around 2:35 a.m. along U.S. Highway 75.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened off the side of the highway. Exact details can’t be confirmed right now. Jonathan Jaramillo was reportedly in a car going along U.S. 75 at the time. The vehicle at somehow point exited the highway, went onto the service road, and somehow ran off-road. There, the car crashed into a tree.
Due to the collision, Jaramillo sustained fatal injuries. There did not appear to be any other injuries due to the crash. Investigations are ongoing.

To be clear up front, I’m not here to speculate about what did or didn’t happen here. After any serious crash, though, families are not always sure how to get clear answers. Waiting around for authorities to get answers unfortunately isn’t as reliable as people would think.
Sometimes, officers have other things they move on to, or they’re more focused on finding blame than simply looking at evidence. That’s why I’ve always relied on independent accident reconstructionists, and many families over the years have found that independent investigations are able to get them closure more effectively than a standard police report. Maybe authorities here are being more thorough, but taking that for granted usually isn’t prudent.
