UPDATE (July 7, 2023): Authorities gave further information about the deadly crash. According to statements, the victims killed in the accident were 50-year-old Johnathon L. Booth and 67-year-old Kevin M. Paddeu.
Booth was reportedly in a Nissan and Paddeu was in a Subaru which were both traveling along I-95 at the time. Police believe that an 18-wheeler crashed into Booth’s Nissan while switching lanes. Those vehicles then hit Paddeu’s Subaru. All three vehicles then went off-road where the 18-wheeler apparently overturned onto the vehicles.
The tractor-trailer driver apparently had minor injuries following the wreck. Current statements say that driver is facing a charge for reckless driving. Right now, there are no further details confirmed about the crash as investigations continue.
