Authorities indicate that on September 30, a fatal accident occurred when a vehicle struck a pedestrian in Amarillo. According to reports, the accident happened at approximately 11:44 a.m.
Investigators say a Dodge Journey was heading through the intersection of Wolflin Avenue and Port Lane when the crash happened. Police stated that the pedestrian was crossing the street when the Dodge struck him in the intersection. The cause of the accident is unknown at this time.
Officials confirmed that the pedestrian, Johnathan Mack Minium, 69, suffered fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported.
