Plano, TX — June 25, 2023, one person was fatally injured due to a pedestrian accident just after midnight along the Central Expressway.
Initial reports about the accident were given by Plano Police officials. Their statements say that the collision happened in the area of Highway 75 and Parker Road at approximately 12:45 a.m.
According to officials, a person, who has not yet been publicly identified, was walking in the area of the main lanes of the highway. Somehow, at least one vehicle struck that man. It appears other vehicles then hit the victim following the initial collision.
As a result of the collision, the pedestrian suffered fatal injuries. Police say that the first driver who hit the victim stayed at the scene and currently does not face any charges. Details about other drivers involved, however, are unavailable. No further information can be confirmed at this time pending further investigations.
