Victoria, TX — September 15, 2024, John Rodriguez Sr. was killed following a car accident at around 1:30 A.M. on HWY 59 N.
An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one-person dead during the early morning hours of September 15th. According to official reports, John Rodriguez Jr. was travelling on a bicycle on Hwy 59 N. and for unknown reasons the bicycle was travelling the wrong direction and collided with a vehicle. The vehicle then fled the scene without rendering aid.
When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Rodriguez had sustained fatal injuries and he was pronounced deceased. At this time there has been no further information released from the accident, including whether any charges or citations have been filed.
