Dallas, TX — April 23, 2024, John Parker was injured in a rear-end car accident at approximately 8:00 a.m. along Northwest Highway.
According to authorities, 63-year-old John Parker was in a halted Dodge Caravan at a red light in the westbound lanes of Northwest Freeway in the vicinity east of Jupiter Road when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a Hyundai Elantra failed to appropriately control its speed; this led to a collision between the front-end of the Elantra and the back-end of the Dodge Caravan. The collision also pushed the van forward, leading to a secondary collision with the rear-end of a Kia Sorento.
Parker reportedly suffered severe injuries as a result of the wreck. He was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
