Taylor, TX — August 8, 2024, John Lewis was injured following a motorcycle accident around 9:10 P.M. on S. Main Street.
An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the evening hours of August 8th. According to official reports, John Lewis Jr. was travelling on a Harley Davidson on Main St. in the southbound lanes, at the Potomac intersection, when a Honda coming from the north on Main St. failed to yield the right-of-way when turning and caused Lewis to strike the Honda.
As a result of the impact, Lewis was thrown from his motorcycle . When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Lewis had sustained serious injuries and transported him to the hospital. At this time there has been no further information released about the accident, including the status of Lewis’s injuries.
