Galveston County, TX — April 3, 2022, John Cochrane III was fatally injured following a single-vehicle rollover accident at around 1:13 p.m. off Highway 146.
Initial details about the deadly wreck say that it took place in the area of the Highway 146 and Chase Park Drive intersection.
At this time, information suggests that 66-year-old John Cochrane III was the driver of a blue Toyota Tundra that was going southbound along the highway. Due to events which can’t be confirmed at this time, the pickup veered off the right side of the roadway and through a ditch along a set of railroad tracks. The truck then went airborne before overturning.
As a result of the crash, Cochrane sustained fatal injuries. There were no other passengers or drivers mentioned by authorities. Right now, further information is unclear. Authorities have yet to release new details to the public.
