Dallas, TX — August 7, 2024, Jody Fitts was killed as the result of a commercial truck accident at around 5:23 p.m. along Lamar Street.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened off the corner of North Lamar Street and Elm Street.
Investigators said that 59-year-old Jody Fitts was on foot at the time in the area of Lamar Street. In a series of events not clear right now, a Chevy 3500 truck pulling a trailer somehow struck Fitts. As a result, Fitts sustained fatal injuries.
Right now, no other injuries have been reported. There are no reported pending charges at this time.
