Martinez, CA — December 12, 2023, Jimmy Thai was killed in a truck accident around 9:30 in the morning along Interstate 680.
According to authorities, Jimmy Thai was traveling in a northbound Ford Escape in the left-hand lane of Interstate 680 when the accident took place.
Allegedly, a Ford F-550 had become disabled in the lane ahead, coming to a stop in the active lane of the interstate. The Ford Escape reportedly collided with the rear-end of the F-550. 39-year-old Thai was declared deceased at the scene due to injuries incurred as a result of the accident. No other injuries were reported in connection with this incident.
The accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were not reported on. There are not currently any additional details available.
