Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

The cause of the crash is unconfirmed right now, but authorities did say weather was rainy at the time. That’s an important detail, but I hope authorities don’t just jump to conclusions. I’ve seen far too many situations where bad weather gets the blame for a crash before investigators have even dug into the actual evidence. That can lead to them overlooking important details or drawing false conclusions. The people affected by this crash deserve to know they’re actually getting the full story, so it’d be prudent to ensure investigators are working to let the evidence speak for itself.
