Authorities indicate that on June 28, a Kia and a box truck collided head-on in the early morning hours on the Peral Harbor Memorial Bridge. Sources say the accident happened shortly after 2:00 a.m. on southbound I-95 when the Kia, for unknown reasons, allegedly drove the wrong way and crashed into a truck.
41-year-old Kia driver Wilson was severely injured and died in the collision. The truck driver and two passengers sustained minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Investigators have not determined what caused the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
