Authorities indicate that on November 1, a fatal accident occurred when a vehicle crashed near Cedar Bluffs. According to reports, the crash happened around 1:28 in the afternoon. Investigators say a Mack truck was traveling east along Highway 105 when it suddenly veered right. The truck reportedly attempted to correct its position, overturned and landed in a roadside ditch. The cause of the crash has not been released at this time.
Officials confirmed the truck driver, 76-year-old Jim D. Horn, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital where he died. No further information is available.
