Brownsville, TX — January 1, 2025, Jesus Herrera and Manuel Torres were injured following a car accident at around 4:31 a.m. along Boca Chica Boulevard.
Preliminary information about the accident says that it happened at the intersection of Boca Chica Boulevard and Minnesota Avenue.
According to officials, 46-year-old Jesus Herrera was in a Jeep Liberty going southbound on Minnesota. 21-year-old Manuel Torres was in a GMC Sierra going eastbound. The vehicles crossed paths at the light, and they collided.
Due to the crash, Jesus Herrera reportedly was seriously injured. Manuel Torres reportedly had minor injuries. At this time, additional details about the crash remain unconfirmed.
