Navarro, TX — May 19, 2024, Jesus Deleon and Blanca Robertson were injured in a car accident that killed one other person at about 6:10 a.m. along I.H. 45.
According to authorities, 23-year-old Jesus Deleon, 60-year-old Blanca Robertson, and a 46-year-old woman were occupying a Mazda that had come to a stop blocking the left-most northbound lane of Interstate Highway 45 due to a previous accident when the collision took place.
Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the right side of the Mazda was struck by the front-end of a northbound Ford F-150. Both Deleon and Robertson suffered serious injuries as a result of the wreck; they were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. The woman who was with them in the Mazda did not survive the ordeal, according to reports. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
