San Patricio County, TX — October 18, 2025, Jesus Contreras was injured as the result of a car accident at around 2:29 p.m. along US Highway 77.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened a few miles northeast of Sinton.
It appears that 32-year-old Jesus Contreras was in a Kia going southbound along the highway. The vehicle apparently lost control, and it overturned. Due to the crash, Jesus Contreras reportedly had serious injuries.
There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. Additional details are unclear.

It’s not unusual for there to be few details available immediately following a single-vehicle crash. However, it’s important to follow up early on to make sure authorities are giving the accident the attention it needs.
Was there a tire blowout? Did the vehicle have defects? Did driver assistance or accident avoidance systems malfunction? Is there an issue with the road itself? Was lighting or signage a problem? Have authorities secured electronic data from the vehicle, the victim’s cellphone, and any possible cameras on the vehicle or nearby buildings?
These are the kinds of questions a proper accident reconstruction can answers. So if authorities can’t answer them, that could be a sign there will need to be some outside help to bring the whole story to light.
