Aransas County, TX — July 2, 2024, Jessica Hart and three others were injured in a car accident just after 6:00 p.m. along Business 35L.
According to authorities, Jessica Hart and another woman—both age 41—were traveling in a southbound GMC Yukon on Business 35L at the 12th Street intersection when the accident took place.

A northbound Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck occupied by a 41-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl was at a stop waiting for oncoming traffic to clear in order to make a safe left turn to head westbound on 12th Street. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the pickup was rear-ended by a Dodge Journey. The impact pushed the pickup into the southbound lanes of the roadway, leading to a secondary collision with the oncoming Yukon.
Hart sustained suspected severe injuries, while the two people from the Silverado suffered moderate injuries. The other woman from the Yukon was incurred minor injuries, as well, according to reports. Those who necessitated it were transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
