Anderson County, TX — November 18, 2023, Jesse Coulson was injured in a motorhome accident just after 5 o’clock in the evening along U.S. 287.
According to reports, 83-year-old Jesse Coulson and 81-year-old Gunilla Coulson were traveling in a southeast bound motorhome towing a Chevy Equinox along U.S. 287 just under a mile northwest of the Farm to Market 860 intersection when the accident took place.

Allegedly, a black pickup truck of unknown make and model was in the act of passing the motorhome when it veered right. In order to avoid a collision, the motorhome swerved to the right, causing the right tires to go off of the road and onto the shoulder. This led to the motorhome to exiting the road and entering the ditch, coming to a stop only after colliding with a tree. The crash caused the Equinox to crash into the rear of the motorhome, as well. The pickup truck did not stop to offer aid of any kind; it left the scene without returning. Jesse Coulson was reportedly severely injured as a result of the accident. He was taken to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive treatment.
The accident is still under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reportedly clear and dry. There are not currently any additional details available concerning this incident.
