Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Right now, additional details about the accident remain unconfirmed. Authorities didn’t report any charges or citations. Did they ever make progress behind the scenes? I’m always concerned when it comes to motorcycle wrecks. Frankly, people are generally unfair to riders, believing them all to be reckless and blaming them without really knowing the whole story. This has led to situations where families will ask us to look into claims their loved one caused a crash only for the evidence to show some other driver in a larger vehicle failed to keep a proper look out for the smaller motorcycle and caused the collision. I can’t say whether or not something like that happened here, but it’s important there is clear evidence to say exactly what went wrong here.
