Travis County, TX — May 4, 2024, Jamie Cochran was injured following a car accident shortly before 12:45 p.m. along State Highway 71.
According to authorities, 45-year-old Jamie Cochran was traveling in a westbound Tesla on State Highway 71 in the vicinity east of the Joint Access Road intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, a westbound Ford Mustang that had been traveling in the lane behind the Tesla failed to properly control its speed. A collision followed between the front-end of the Mustang and the rear-end of the Tesla.
Cochran suffered reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
