Fort Worth, TX — May 5, 2023, James Vincent was fatally injured and Carol Vincent was hurt following a car accident at around 3:41 p.m. along Overton Ridge.
According to details released by authorities, the incident took place at the intersection of Overton Ridge Boulevard and Chisholm Trail Parkway near the Hulen Mall.
Officials said that 90-year-old James Vincent and 85-year-old Carol Vincent were in a Ford Escape that was traveling southbound along the Chisholm Trail frontage road. While crossing the Overton Ridge intersection, authorities believe that an eastbound Honda Civic ran the light and crashed into the Vincents’ vehicle.
Both James and Carol Vincent were said to have incapacitating injuries following the wreck; it appears that James Vincent succumbed to his injuries on May 22. Carol Vincent’s current condition is unclear.
Authorities suggested there may be pending charges for the driver of the Honda, but this has yet to be confirmed.
