McLennan County, TX — October 5, 2024, James Franklin was injured following a car accident that occurred at around 4:00 P.M. on SH 164.
An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the afternoon hours of October 5th. According to official reports, James Franklin was travelling in a Nissan Murano on SH 164 in the westbound lanes, near Hanath Kuel Rd. when a Jeep Gladiator coming in the opposite lane drifted into Franklin’s lane and collided with them.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Franklin had sustained serious injuries and transported her to the hospital. At this time there has been no further information released from the accident, including the status of Franklin’s injuries and whether any charges or citations will be filed.
