Harrison County, TX — April 28, 2023, Jason Butler was killed as the result of a motorcycle accident at around 4:48 p.m. along F.M. 450.
According to preliminary investigations, the incident took place near the intersection of Farm-to-Market 450 and Nelson Road.
Details from authorities say that 55-year-old Jason Butler was on a Suzuki motorcycle traveling southwest along F.M. 450. For reasons which are unclear at this time, the motorcycle lost control and went into a skid. This sent the bike off-road, and it ejected Butler from the motorcycle.
Due to the crash, Butler succumbed to fatal injuries. Details at this time make no indication of other drivers being involved. It is believed that the roads were wet at the time of the crash, however authorities have not said if that contributed to the accident. Additional details cannot be confirmed at this time.
