Bell County, TX — October 14, 2024, Jackson Ivory was injured in a motorcycle versus hit-and-run car accident at about 2:30 a.m. along Fort Hood Street.

According to authorities, 20-year-old Jackson Ivory was traveling on a northbound motorcycle on Fort Hood Street at the I.H. 14, West Central Expressway, intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a passenger vehicle of unknown make or model that had been traveling in the lane to the left of the motorcycle attempted a lane change at an apparently unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the left side of the motorcycle and the right side of the motor vehicle. The striking vehicle allegedly fled the scene, the person(s) inside failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim.

Ivory suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is ongoing.
