Yaphank, NY — May 4, 2023, Jacklyn Smoljan and a 1-year-old were killed due to a minibus accident at around 7:30 a.m. on the Long Island Expressway.

Due to this collision, 31-year-old Jacklyn Smoljan was killed. She was said to be the driver of the Nissan. A 1-year-old child in Smoljan’s vehicle was seriously injured due to the accident. Life-saving efforts proceeded, but the child’s injuries ultimately proved fatal.
