Montague County, TX — July 31, 2025, Jackie Taylor was injured as the result of a car accident that happened around 3:45 p.m. on FM 1956.
Officials said that the accident took place east of Nocona near FM 3301.
According to investigators, 63-year-old Jackie Taylor was in a Dodge Ram 1500 going along the roadway. For reasons not confirmed right now, the vehicle somehow lost control, resulting in a rollover crash. Due to this, Jackie Taylor was seriously injured.
There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. No further information is available.

One of the main concerns I hear from folks involved in single-vehicle accidents is they want to be sure their side of the story is told fairly. That’s frankly not something authorities always prioritize. Sometimes, they see crashes like this as low on their list of responsibilities, so they just jump to conclusions and move on. Picking up the slack, then, can require input from independent investigators who focus on getting the facts and letting the evidence speak for itself. Authorities sometimes do this, and maybe they did so here. However, in my experience, when people feel that authorities aren’t getting the whole story, it’s generally prudent to trust that instinct and look for professionals who can pick up the slack.
