San Antonio, TX — June 25, 2023, Isai Manuel Alvarado was fatally injured due to an apparent hit-and-run accident at around 3:05 a.m. along San Pedro Avenue.
Preliminary information about the accident was released by authorities as they continue to search for the runaway driver. Current statements show the crash took place at the intersection of San Pedro Avenue and Evergreen.
According to officials, 29-year-old Isai Manuel Alvarado was walking at the time. While crossing the roadway just off the corner of San Pedro and Evergreen, it appears that a southbound vehicle struck Alvarado. That vehicle then reportedly fled the scene.
Alvarado died due to the injuries he sustained in the crash. Police have not yet provided a description of a suspect driver other than saying they believe the driver may have been drunk. No further information is currently available.
