Belton, TX — November 28, 2024, Isaac Hernandez Jr. was injured following a car accident at around 3:03 a.m. along Main Street.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened along southbound TX-317 off the corner of the Industrial Park Road intersection.
Investigators said that 42-year-old Isaac Hernandez Jr. was in a Honda Civic traveling southbound along Main. For reasons which are not confirmed right now, the vehicle ultimately crashed along the roadway. Due to the accident, Hernandez sustained reportedly serious injuries.
Authorities did not report any other injuries. They also did not report any other vehicles being involved in the accident. No further information is available.

When it comes to single vehicle accidents, things can be a lot more challenging than people may realize. They aren’t always seen as a high priority, so sometimes authorities are more concerned with finding someone to blame or moving on to other work than they are actually getting clear evidence. That’s when important details tend to slip through the cracks.
I’ve had cases where authorities never bothered pulling a vehicle’s electronic data. Other times, they left nearby security cameras unchecked which would have been vital. Some cases involved vehicle defects the victims didn’t know about until after our independent investigations brought them to light. At the end of the day, if the priority isn’t getting the facts and letting them speak for themselves, something is bound to go unnoticed.
Perhaps authorities here have been more thorough in their efforts, but that remains to be seen.
