How Did This Accident Occur?

Initial reports on this crash suggest authorities suspect alcohol may have played a role. If that is proven to be the case, an often-overlooked question is where did the driver get his alcohol?

Texas law allows alcohol providers to be held responsible for injuries caused by people who were served while they were obviously intoxicated, but in my experience most law enforcement agencies don’t have the resources to check out that information. An independent probe may be necessary to determine if a bar or restaurant shares responsibility for this crash.
