Harris County, TX — June 14, 2024, Inocente Menjivar was injured in a motorcycle versus hit-and-run car accident just after 5:00 p.m. along I.H. 10, Katy Freeway.
According to authorities, 36-year-old Inocente Menjivar was traveling on a westbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle on I.H. 10, the Katy Freeway, in the vicinity east of Witte Road when the accident took place.
As the motorcycle was entering tollway entrance ramp on the left side of the freeway, a vehicle of unknown make or model reportedly made an unsafe lane change, colliding with the motorcycle in the process. The vehicle allegedly fled the scene, the person(s) inside failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim.
Menjivar suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
